Dear Lowell Joint Families,

We understand that the current federal government shutdown has created uncertainty for many in our community. Please know that this situation does not affect free or reduced-price school meals. All students in Lowell Joint School District will continue to receive morning nutrition snack and lunch as usual through our school meal programs.

We recognize that this situation may bring challenges for some families, and we want to assure you that support and resources are available for those navigating changes to federal assistance programs. To help, here are some links to community resources that may be helpful.

Second Harvest Food Bank

211 OC

LH PTA Thrift Shop

Pathways of Hope

OC Food Help

We have also attached a list of local food pantries.

We know this is an uncertain time, and our district remains committed to supporting every family. Please reach out to your school office or the District office if you need help connecting with resources.

Respectfully,

Lowell Joint School District
