LOWELL JOINT EDUCATION FOUNDATION RECEIVES DONATION FROM THE CREDIT UNION OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
The Lowell Joint Education Foundation recently received a $1,000 donation from the Credit Union of Southern California. The donation was presented by Fred Wright, member of the Board of Directors of the Credit Union of Southern California. The donation will be used to help support academic and technology programs, Academic Excellence Day, and after-school activities for the students in the Lowell Joint School District.
The Credit Union of Southern California is a local community credit union with seven branch locations throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Orange County. Since its inception in 1954, the credit union’s philosophy has been “people helping people.” It is committed to helping build better lives and strong communities.
Despite the challenging economy, the Credit Union of Southern California remains financially strong. Because of its financial strength and passion to make a positive difference in the lives of others, the credit union has given each Board of Directors Member the opportunity to donate $1,000 to a charity or non-profit organization of their choice.
