Ensuring students can compete in a globally competitive environment is one of the hallmarks of Lowell Joint. For this reason, rigorous academics coupled with specialty programs ensure students have a well-rounded education. Special programs provided at the schools include art and vocal music (TK-6) and instrumental music (6-8). At the junior high school, a full array of visual and performing arts classes is offered including beginning and advanced band, percussion, drumline, vocal music and drama. Classes are available in drawing, painting, 3-D design and advanced art. An extensive STEM program is also offered with classes in Design and Modeling, Robotics, Audio Engineering, Green Architecture and Energy and the Environment. Three seasons of afterschool sports and after-school enrichment opportunities, such as Science Olympiad, are offered at the junior high school.

There is an emphasis on 21st century learning skills and a vast array of technology is infused at all of the schools to ensure our students have the foundation to be globally competitive. Parents understand that Lowell Joint schools offer the best educational opportunities and as such, we serve as a “District of Destination” for the community.
