LJSD Technology Department Logo

Welcome to the LJSD Technology Department! We're here to help our students, staff, and families get the most out of technology. We believe technology is an essential tool for learning and connecting in the 21st century. Our goal is to provide a reliable, secure, and user-friendly technology environment that supports high-quality education and streamlines district operations.

What We Do

Our department is responsible for all things tech at LJSD. We manage the district's network and information systems, including the student information system and voice communications. Our team provides technology support for instructional and administrative needs, handles network maintenance, and works with all school sites to ensure we have the right technology to succeed. We also support a variety of devices, including Chromebooks and Windows computers, and provide resources for popular educational software like Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, etc.).

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower the entire LJSD community—students, teachers, staff, and parents—with the skills and tools they need to thrive in a digital world. We're committed to:

  • Enhancing Learning: Integrating technology into the classroom to engage students and support Common Core-based standards across subjects like Language Arts, Math, and Science.

  • Ensuring Safety: Educating students on online etiquette, social media responsibility, and cybersecurity to promote digital citizenship.

  • Providing Support: Offering prompt and effective technical assistance to keep our systems running smoothly and to help our users troubleshoot issues.
