Safe Modern Schools - Measure LL
The Lowell Joint School District (LJSD) is committed to providing students with a well-balanced educational program that nurtures academic growth in a safe, modern environment. All LJSD schools are California Distinguished Schools with collective test scores well above the county and state averages. Our schools empower students to achieve success and expand learning beyond the walls of the classroom. We know our good schools improve the quality of life in our community and protect the value of our homes.
All of our schools were built more than 50 years ago and desperately need repairs and upgrades. Our students deserve to have the same educational opportunities as others in the region. It’s time to make essential repairs and upgrades to the schools, facilities and classroom technology in our beloved century old district so we can serve our students and community well for decades to come.
In order to make essential repairs and upgrades to our neighborhood schools, the Lowell Joint School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to place Measure LL, a $48 million local bond measure, on the November 2018 ballot.
