Transitional Kindergarten
Who is Eligible for TK?
Children who will have their fifth birthday between September 2nd and December 2nd are eligible to start a Transitional Kindergarten program. Transitional Kindergarten provides time for younger students to engage in early academic learning experiences designed to promote success in kindergarten and beyond.

All 5 Elementary Schools in the Lowell Joint School District offer TK.
How to Start TK
Families can register their eligible students (five years old between September 2nd and December 2nd) at the school site.
