Welcome to Olita Elementary
School's web site.
Olita School is located on 950 S. Briercliff in La Habra,
California, and is one of five elementary schools in Lowell
Joint School District.
We are committed to providing excellence in education and strong character building to our students.
There are
two Learning Centers on campus; one class is for grades 1-3
and the other is for students in grades 4-6. There are 27 certificated
staff members.
Enrollment in kindergarten classrooms is not limited in
number, therefore they can be as high as 30+ students.
Grades 1-2 have classroom sizes of 20:1.
Olita School has a tremendous parent volunteer program and
active participation in PTA. Monthly PTA meetings are held
at 7:00 on the third Tuesday of the month.
Academically, Olita School, with the Lowell Joint School
District, has ranked in the top 10% of the state in the STAR
standardized test. I am proud to say that Olita's staff is dedicated to providing an instructional program of the highest quality using the State and District Standards as a guideline.
