Join our efforts to increase student comprehension and interest in reading by choosing Reading Counts! books for your 3-6 grade children. Choose books at your children’s reading level when you go to the library or bookstore by using their lexile levels or California Reading Level located on their CST scores. Each 3-6 grade student knows his/her lexile level. Check out the Reading Counts! books on the list. Students earn points every time they read a book and take a quiz here at school. We hope every student can attend our P.A.R.T. celebration. Reading does count at El Portal!
