RLHRWF Essay Contest Winners Recognized by Board of Trustees

Lowell Joint School District is pleased to announce that eight students have been selected as grade-level winners in the Rancho La Habra Republican Women Federated Essay Contest. 

Congratulations to John Little, the first grade winner from Macy Elementary School; Isabella Nauta, the second grade winner from Olita Elementary School; Luke Shaw, the third grade winner from El Portal Elementary School; Elise Hanrahan, the fourth grade winner from El Portal Elementary School; Set Gross, the fifth grade winner from Meadow Green Elementary School; Natalie Dickerson, the sixth grade winner from Jordan Elementary School; and Reagan Vasquez, the seventh grade winner, and Natalie Paul, the eighth grade winner, both from Rancho-Starbuck Intermediate School.

 

The theme of the essay contest was “What the Freedom in America Means to Me.”  Contest winners and their parents were honored guests at the Lowell Joint School District Board of Trustees meeting on April 3, 2017.  The students and their parents were also honored at the Rancho La Habra Republican Women Federated Luncheon that was held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Hacienda Golf Club in La Habra Heights.
