Public Hearing Notice for CVRA to Establish Criteria for Developing New Trustee Area Boundaries

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Lowell Joint School District, at its regular meeting to be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, will hold a public hearing at which time the Governing Board will continue discussions regarding a change from at-large elections to by-trustee area elections for November 2018.  The Board will open the hearing for public comment regarding establishing criteria for developing new trustee area boundaries. The Board of Trustees invites public testimony regarding this matter.

 

The Notice of Public Hearing is posted at a school district elementary school, intermediate school, and the District Office.

 

The October 2, 2017, Board meeting of the District will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the District’s Board Room located at 11019 Valley Home, Whittier, California, 90603.
